Second time here for me however my family are regulars when we are in town. We are from Auckland and we make sure at least one night we have dinner here. We are regulars to the Lone Star brand. Love the Tauranga staff. Great water front location and ample parking. Kids enjoyed their meals and no unsatisfied customer from our tribe. Bonus as we called through our orders and food was out within 15mins of being seated.
Amazing good and attentive staff. Will even pack up food for you to take...and even run across the road to give it you when distracted by the kids. Recommend!
We had an amazing time at Lone Star! The nachos were absolutely delicious with a great portion size, and the kumara fries were the perfect side. The kids loved their hot chocolates, and I enjoyed a nice cold beer – perfect combo! The ambience was fantastic, with a warm, western-themed vibe that made the evening feel special. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing outstanding service from start to finish. It’s a very family-friendly place, and the value for money is excellent. Thank you to the team for making our visit so enjoyable – we’ll definitely be back for more!
What can I say? This exceptional dining experience has truly raised the bar, for Lone Star outstanding food, attentive service, and a seamless flow that left no room in our bellies. We will be back to savour it all again! Many Thanks from The Borell Family.
Lesa was our waitress and can't fault her customer service, attitude and knowledge...fantastic experience due to her service!! Husband enjoyed his steak meal but the Dixie chicken was average, creamy garlic sauce minus the garlic just a white sauce. Nice, but a bit boring not a lot of flavor.
Meals were large, I had my dessert to go. Banoffee Pie. Had an espresso martini, great. Service was wonderful - thank you Indigo. An excellent evening.
Had dinner here and everything was fabulous. Staff accommodating with making simple minor changes to order. Welcomed in and seated quickly. Food and drinks came in a timely matter also. Delicious food and I had Charlee serving who was amazing !! I had the chicken burrito and it has so much chicken in it !!!
